The original Felco wire rope cutter is made of forged aluminum and features blades and connectors made of the highest quality steel, as well as unbreakable, plastic-coated handles for a secure grip. According to Felco, these wire rope cutters are approved for cables up to 9 mm thick, but we recommend using them only for cables up to 8 mm thick.
